Where To Eat NEAR Manchester Christmas Markets – Budget Friendly

Taking the family to the Christmas markets and watching the food spend spiral? It can be a tad scary! However, I have put together a fantastic guide featuring where to eat near the Manchester Christmas markets for better value, warmth and actual plates!

It’s well worth checking out the Christmas offers too, there are plenty to be had, without wandering too far from all the action.

Franco Manca

Right in the heart of the Christmas Markets the Franco Manca King Street Manchester restaurant is the perfect place for a family meal out. With plenty of dining space, a warm and inviting atmosphere and super friendly staff, the tasty food and amazing Christmas offer are just an added bonus!

Helen from North West Family Adventures and I both really enjoyed the Christmas at Franco’s offer which included 3 courses for £25. A serious bargain for families, that is available from 12th November to 4th January 2026.

Choose any starter, pizza and dessert or upgrade to a mighty 4 courses for £35 and indulge in a trio of nibbles, unlimited dips (you need to try the Hot Honey dip!!!) and a side salad too. A brilliant offer if there is a group of you dining!

Right now, you can grab a Portafogli-go, which are Folded Neapolitan pizza’s in either Nutella and Biscoff for £6.25 or a Margherita for £8.90, both of which are perfect to eat whilst walking around the markets.

If you’re visiting the Piccadilly Gardens section, call in at the Franco Manca Piccadilly restaurant for exactly the same deals.

Haute Dolci

At the start of Deansgate and just slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the Manchester Christmas Markets sits the most amazing dessert venue that only opened in October 2025. With its luxurious decor, the restaurant is rather spacious and very bright and airy.

You can also grab savoury brunch classics, that are available all day long. We were actually told that the busiest time at Haute Dolci Deansgate is around 9pm!

From 15th November to 31st December, there is a fantastic offer for dessert lovers that includes a Signature dessert, a drink, a Christmas cracker and a Keys the Season envelope, priced at £14 per person.

Not a festive deal as such, but Waga’s have a great lunchtime deal on between 11am and 3pm each weekday. For £12, you can get a main bowl and a soft drink or coffee, for dine-in only.
