Bill’s Restaurant Menu For Autumn Review

It’s always lovely to feature a restaurant review on the site. Especially when faced with a menu of winter warmers such as the new and updated Bill’s Restaurant menu for Autumn.

Disclosure: We were gifted our meal at the restaurant for the purpose of this review.

I have previously featured Bill’s on the site before and you can check out that review here. Though I’m sure you also want to read about a more recent visit!

Updated Bill's Restaurant Menu Trafford Centre Manchester

Bill’s Restaurant Trafford Centre has recently had a refurb and whilst it has still retained its quirkiness, there is definitely a more cosy feel to this wonderful family friendly restaurant.

With comfy booths to relax in after a shopping trip, or seating outside so that you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of the shopping mall, there are seating options for all.

Liv and I were booked in for 3pm on a Saturday afternoon which seemed to be a great decision, not too busy, but busy enough to still people watch!

What can you expect from the new Autumn Bill’s Restaurant Menu?

Lots of amazing yummy treats is what! Especially with new meal options such as Roasted Butternut Squash and Feta Risotto (£12.95). For which Bill’s will donate 50p from the price of the dish to their chosen charity Mental Health UK.

I also believe Warm Apple and Salted Caramel Doughnuts (£6.50), a new addition to the dessert menu are an absolute must try! Unfortunately, by the time we reached the dessert option, we were both utterly stuffed on the mouthwatering food we had already eaten.

Much more a starter lady than dessert, the updated menu was far too tempting to ever reach that point!

What did we eat?

What didn’t we eat? There really are so many options on the new Autumn menu, I could have happily eaten every meal! When you give someone the option of having a starter… before a starter too… it would be rude not to indulge!

The For The Table section of the menu is a great idea, have a nibble or two whilst you are contemplating the rest of the menu…

Bill's Restaurant For The Table Sausages and Tortilla Crisps

Mini Cumberland Sausages (£5.25)

Huge lovers of sausages, the chunky pieces are the perfect size to share and when dipped in the honey and grain mustard, are utterly heavenly! To the point you may not actually want to share them!

Bill’s Spiced Tortilla’s (£4.25)

I have had these before and they were amazing… they still are! The perfect complement for the table, Liv loved these as much as I did! Crunchy and crispy, full of flavour and larger in size to give you a decent chance to collect a good scoop from the avocado, tzatziki & red pepper trio dip.

I like the fact all the dips have been portioned together, giving you a chance to combine all the flavours. It’s a super handy dish to have on the table even after starters too!

Bill's Restaurant Spiced Tortilla Dip

With 6 starters to choose from on the updated menu, we chose something we could both enjoy…

Bill's Restaurant Crispy Calamari

Crispy Calamari (£6.95)

Nom nom nom! This dish was super yummy! With plenty for a good sharing starter, we found the slightly spiced crispy batter tasty and rather moreish.

I thought the red chilli and lime aioli dip maybe a little overpowering for Liv, but she absolutely lapped it up! At 10 years of age, she is more adventurous with food these days and will try different foods.

We do not tend to eat much seafood at home, so this was a great starter option for us. However, all the options look equally tempting, but main course choices somewhat dictated not to order more chicken!

Bill’s Restaurant Main Course Menu

It would have been so easy to choose a burger from the menu. Something safe, you know what you are going to get and it would have been great to carb up considering I was non-Keto for the day.

However this review opportunity called for choosing something a little different. So I chose chicken (something I eat most days!), but not just any chicken dish!

MOJO MARINATED CHICKEN SKEWERS

Mojo Marinated Chicken Skewers (£11.95)

A new addition to the Autumn menu. This was a bold choice from me, although I did have a side portion of sweet potato fries too!

With a complement of grains, wild rice, cucumber & red onion salad, tzatziki & grilled flatbread this main course was light, but really filling all in one. The chicken was succulent and full of flavour with an added citrus kick and super tasty.

This is a great meal for a light bite option. Or you can bulk it out with sides, such as the extremely crispy Sweet Potato Fries (£4.25) to make it a more hearty meal.

Bill’s Restaurant Kid’s Menu

Liv is almost 11 years old now and we find ourselves ordering her food from a Mains Menu more than a kids menu these days.

As Bill’s Restaurant is very family friendly, you can imagine that the Kid’s Menu is fabulous. With lots of succulent meal choices for little eaters. I found £5.95 for two courses to be very reasonable considering the quality of the food.

So what did Liv actually choose?

Bill's Classic Burger

Bill’s Classic Burger (£11.95)

How pretty are the plates?! Liv opted for the Classic Burger from the Main Menu. However without tomato, spicy mayo and red onions that do come with the meal.

You can add optional extras such as Cheddar cheese (£1.35) and smashed avocado (£1.95). Which add a different taste to a traditional burger meal. This was a total blink and you will miss it moment!

The burger was tasty, succulent, cooked well and Liv definitely appreciated the toasted burger bun and seriously crispy chips. Whilst I did not try this meal, I was really impressed by the fact you ask for your burger meal to ‘go nude’!

Simply ask for the bun and chips to be swapped for salad alongside your burger. This is especially great for those who follow the Keto Lifestyle. It is definitely something I will be ordering for myself the next time we visit.

Bill's Restaurant Desserts

Bill’s Restaurant Desserts

Despite featuring a selection of our favourite desserts, we were unable to order a dessert. Unfortunately, we were absolutely stuffed on the fabulous starters and mains!

The Warm Apple and Salted Caramel Doughnuts (£6.50) came very highly recommended. They are a wonderful addition to the new Autumn Menu.

Bill's Restaurant Bar

Stopping in at Bill’s at the Trafford Centre, Manchester

Whether you are dining or simply looking for a refreshing beverage after a shopping trip to the Trafford Centre, Bill’s offer a fantastic array of drinks to suit all tastes. Whilst we opted for Coke Zero and water on the table, the cocktail list looks sublime.

I cannot praise the Bill’s Restaurant team enough. They are welcoming, happy to explain food options and geniunely interested in what you thought about the food. Nothing was too much trouble.

A jug of water and glasses appeared at our table as soon as we were seated without question. I love those little touches!

Reasonably priced food at Bill’s

If you are looking for a tasty, reasonably priced meal, with service that goes above and beyond. You cannot go wrong with a trip to Bill’s!

Depending on the time of day, you can simply request a table at your time of visiting. Or you can book in advance online (which I would recommend!).
