Fun Family Events in the City in July
7th July – 31st August 2025 – Music for the Senses Art Trail
Starting at Piccadilly Gardens, explore a vibrant trail of decorated guitars, exhibitions and installations celebrating Manchester’s iconic music scene. Each piece tells a story of the city’s sound and spirit.
At the end of the trail, the guitars will be auctioned to support grassroots music projects across Greater Manchester through a special fund with Forever Manchester and Manchester Music City.
3rd July – 28th September – MCR Live Hub
Heading into the city for the big gigs or just soaking up the summer vibes? Stop by the MCR Live Hub in Piccadilly Gardens – your go-to spot for music, street food, live DJs and surprise performances.
